Role Description
The Managing Director will provide overall strategic leadership and operational oversight for DiagnoMedics Limited, ensuring the company’s objectives are achieved in line with its mission and values. This full-time, on-site role based in Accra involves setting long-term business direction, managing budgets, and overseeing financial performance to drive sustainable growth. Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising senior management, reviewing departmental reports, and making data-driven decisions on operations, sales, and service delivery. The Managing Director will develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare institutions, regulatory bodies, suppliers, and partners. The role also includes ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, guiding organizational policies, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and high performance across the company.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in senior leadership or executive management, preferably within healthcare, diagnostics, or related industries.
  • Strong background in strategic planning, business development, and organizational growth.
  • Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
  • Excellent people management skills, including team leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Strong communication and negotiation abilities, with capacity to represent the company to external partners and regulators.
  • Proven track record in operational management, process improvement, and implementing efficient systems.
  • Relevant academic qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Healthcare Management, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is an advantage.
  • Ability to work on-site in Accra and commit to a full-time executive schedule.
  • High level of integrity, sound judgment, and commitment to ethical and non-discriminatory leadership practices.
