Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Feed Mill Supervisor to oversee daily feed production operations. The successful candidate will ensure efficient production, maintain quality standards, and lead a team to meet the nutritional and operational needs of poultry operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily feed mill operations, including grinding, mixing, pelletizing, and bagging
  • Lead and coordinate feed mill staff to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production processes
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet poultry feed requirements
  • Monitor raw material intake, storage, and utilization to minimize waste and maintain quality
  • Ensure proper operation and maintenance of feed mill equipment
  • Collaborate with mechanical and electrical teams to implement preventive maintenance plans
  • Maintain accurate records of feed formulations, production volumes, and inventory levels
  • Enforce quality control measures to ensure feed meets nutritional and regulatory standards
  • Prepare and submit reports on production performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives
  • Train and mentor staff on safety practices and operational efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

  • HND or BSc in Agriculture, Animal Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in feed mill operations
  • At least 1–2 years in a supervisory role
  • Strong understanding of feed formulation, poultry nutrition, and quality control
  • Hands-on experience with feed mill machinery and troubleshooting
