Our client, a fast-growing educational and technology organization, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Sales Manager (Instructor) to lead sales training initiatives while driving business growth and revenue generation. This role combines sales leadership with instructional responsibilities, requiring the successful candidate to train, mentor, and support sales teams while implementing effective sales strategies and best practices.
The ideal candidate should possess strong sales expertise, excellent presentation abilities, and the capacity to coach individuals and teams toward achieving sales targets and organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.
- Deliver sales training sessions, workshops, and coaching programs for sales teams and stakeholders.
- Create instructional materials, presentations, sales manuals, and practical learning exercises.
- Mentor and support sales representatives to improve performance, productivity, and conversion rates.
- Monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics and provide actionable feedback.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion strategies.
- Support lead generation, pipeline management, and customer relationship development.
- Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to align sales objectives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, sales methodologies, and customer engagement strategies.
- Assist in developing internal sales training programs and onboarding initiatives.
- Provide professional guidance on customer acquisition, retention, and sales best practices.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Communication, or related field preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, sales management, or sales training roles.
- Proven experience leading or training sales teams and driving measurable sales results.
- Strong understanding of sales strategies, lead generation, negotiation, and customer relationship management.
- Excellent presentation, communication, and coaching skills.
- Ability to explain sales concepts and strategies to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM platforms, and virtual collaboration tools.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in training or instructional delivery within sales or business environments.
- Background in education, technology, digital products, or service-based industries.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, sales analytics, and online sales tools.
- Experience managing remote or distributed sales teams.
- Certification in sales training, coaching, or business development is an advantage.
