Position Summary
CDA Global Consult is seeking an experienced and results-driven Quality Assurance Manager to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS). The successful candidate will ensure that products, services, and operational processes consistently meet established quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to implement quality assurance strategies, manage audits, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Quality Management
- Develop, implement, and maintain the organization’s Quality Management System (QMS).
- Establish quality objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Ensure all operational processes comply with internal quality standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Promote a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities across departments.
- Monitor product and service quality to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Conduct regular quality inspections, process evaluations, and compliance reviews.
- Identify quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Audits & Compliance
- Plan and coordinate internal and external quality audits.
- Ensure organizational compliance with ISO standards and other relevant quality management frameworks.
- Prepare documentation required for certification, surveillance, and regulatory audits.
- Monitor corrective action plans arising from audit findings.
Continuous Improvement
- Analyze quality performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Lead process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency, reducing defects, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Utilize quality improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar approaches where applicable.
- Recommend innovative solutions to improve operational performance.
Risk Management
- Identify operational risks affecting product and service quality.
- Conduct root cause analyses for quality issues and implement preventive measures.
- Monitor quality risks and ensure effective mitigation strategies are in place.
Documentation & Reporting
- Develop and maintain quality manuals, policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual quality performance reports.
- Present quality findings and recommendations to senior management.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, non-conformities, and corrective actions.
Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and supervise Quality Assurance personnel.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching for continuous development.
- Coordinate quality awareness and employee training programs.
- Foster a culture of accountability and continuous learning.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with department heads to ensure quality standards are integrated into daily operations.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers, regulatory bodies, and certification organizations on quality-related matters.
- Support customer complaint investigations and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in one of the following or a related discipline:
- Engineering
- Business Administration
- Quality Management
- Industrial Engineering
- Manufacturing Engineering
- Operations Management
- Technical or Scientific disciplines
Professional Certification
The following certification is highly desirable:
- ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Certification
Additional certifications such as the following will be an added advantage:
- ISO 9001 Lead Implementer
- Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Lean Management Certification
- Certified Quality Auditor (CQA)
- Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE)
Experience
- Minimum of 4–6 years of progressive experience in:
- Quality Assurance
- Quality Control
- Quality Management
- Process Improvement
- Operational Excellence
- Previous supervisory or management experience is highly desirable.
