Job Description

We are looking for a highly organised, proactive, and passionate Project Officer to support the coordination and implementation of an agroecology project delivered in collaboration with seven partner organisations.
This is an exciting opportunity for a development professional who enjoys bringing people, plans, and ideas together to create meaningful impact in sustainable agriculture and resilient food systems.

Key Responsibilities
🔹 Coordinate project activities across seven partner organisations
🔹 Track work plans, milestones, deliverables, and project progress
🔹 Monitor project activities and support field implementation
🔹 Prepare and contribute to project reports, briefs, presentations, and other documentation
🔹 Participate in meetings, trainings, workshops, and stakeholder engagements
🔹 Maintain effective communication and follow-up with project partners
🔹 Document achievements, lessons learned, challenges, and success stories
🔹 Represent the organisation at relevant project and sector engagements
🔹 Provide support and cover for other Project Officers when required


Who We Are Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
✔️ A Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agroecology, Development Studies, Environmental Studies, Project Management, or a related field
✔️ At least 2–3 years of relevant project experience
✔️ Experience working with partners, communities, farmers, NGOs, or development programmes
✔️ Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and organisational skills
✔️ Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
✔️ A strong interest in agroecology, sustainable agriculture, climate resilience, and community development
✔️ Willingness to travel to project locations
