ABOUT THE ROLE

Elixir Audits is seeking an experienced, versatile, and technology-driven IT Operations Lead to take responsibility for the firm’s overall technology environment.

The successful candidate will manage and support the firm’s technology assets, infrastructure, systems, network connectivity, hardware, software, and data environment. The role will also lead the adoption of relevant emerging technologies and Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools to improve efficiency, productivity, and business operations.

This position is ideal for a practical technology professional who enjoys solving problems, working across different technology areas, and helping a growing professional services firm build a secure, efficient, and modern technology environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The IT Operations Lead will be responsible for:

• Managing the firm’s technology assets, IT infrastructure, systems, and data environment.
• Overseeing the day-to-day performance, availability, and reliability of IT systems and services.
• Managing and maintaining network connectivity, hardware, software, and other technology resources.
• Ensuring that software and technology tools remain current, secure, and fit for business requirements.
• Coordinating software upgrades, system improvements, and technology migration projects.
• Identifying, testing, and recommending emerging technologies that can improve the firm’s operations.
• Leading the adoption and effective use of relevant Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools across the business.
• Providing guidance and training to employees on the effective use of technology and digital tools.
• Troubleshooting technology-related issues and providing practical solutions to users.
• Supporting the implementation of appropriate cybersecurity and data protection practices.
• Monitoring technology risks and recommending improvements to strengthen the firm’s IT environment.
• Researching and evaluating technology solutions based on business needs, functionality, cost, and overall value.
• Working with external IT vendors and service providers where necessary.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should have:

• 3–4 years of relevant professional experience in IT operations, systems administration, IT support, technology management, or a related field.
• Practical experience managing a broad range of hardware, software, systems, and technology tools.
• Experience supporting business technology infrastructure and day-to-day IT operations.
• A strong understanding of modern workplace technologies and business applications.
• Experience with AI tools and their practical business applications will be an advantage.
• Coding or web development experience is desirable but not required.

• A strong interest in emerging technologies and digital transformation.
• Good communication skills and the ability to train and support non-technical users.
• A security-first mindset, with an understanding of technology risks and the importance of protecting business systems and data.
