Job Summary

Advans Ghana is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical HR Data Analyst to support its Human Resources function. This role focuses on transforming workforce data into actionable insights to enhance decision-making, workforce planning, and overall HR effectiveness.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing HR trends, improving reporting systems, and supporting strategic HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect, clean, validate, and manage HR data from multiple sources
  • Prepare and maintain HR reports and dashboards (e.g., recruitment, turnover, headcount, performance metrics)
  • Analyze HR data trends and provide insights to support decision-making and workforce planning
  • Maintain HR databases and ensure timely and accurate updates of employee information
  • Support HR projects through data analysis and reporting
  • Track recruitment and onboarding data to support hiring strategies
  • Ensure strict confidentiality and proper handling of sensitive employee data

Key Challenges

  • Managing large volumes of HR data while maintaining accuracy and consistency
  • Meeting reporting deadlines and handling ad-hoc data requests
  • Translating data into meaningful and actionable insights
  • Ensuring consistency and integrity across HR reports and systems

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3–4 years’ experience in data analysis, reporting, HR operations, or a related role
  • Prior HR experience is not mandatory, but the ability to interpret HR data is essential
  • Experience in the financial services sector is an added advantage

  • Ability to present data clearly and effectively to stakeholders
