ABOUT THE ROLE

As Emigoh Ghana Ltd. continues to grow, we are strengthening our people, processes and systems to support sustainable business growth. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Systems & Business Partner to join our People & Culture team.

The successful candidate will play a dual role, supporting the effective management of HR systems, recruitment and day-to-day HR operations, while also partnering closely with the Sales function and other departments to address people-related needs and support business performance.

This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who combines strong operational HR capabilities with a business-partnering mindset, strong interpersonal skills and an interest in using HR systems and data to improve employee and organisational effectiveness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. HR Systems & Employee Records

  • Support the effective use and administration of the organisation’s HR systems.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases.
  • Ensure employee information is properly captured, updated and securely maintained.
  • Support HR reporting and the preparation of workforce information for management.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes through effective use of technology and systems.
  • Ensure HR documentation and records are maintained in line with company policies and applicable requirements.

2. Recruitment & Talent Acquisition

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, from job requisition through to onboarding.
  • Prepare and publish job advertisements and coordinate candidate sourcing.
  • Screen applications, shortlist candidates and coordinate interviews.
  • Liaise with hiring managers to understand workforce and recruitment requirements.
  • Maintain recruitment trackers and provide updates on recruitment progress.
  • Support the development of a strong candidate pipeline for current and future vacancies.
  • Coordinate pre-employment documentation and onboarding activities.

3. HR Operations

  • Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and managers.
  • Support employee onboarding, transfers, confirmations, exits and other employee lifecycle processes.
  • Assist with leave administration, attendance records and other routine HR activities.
  • Support the implementation and communication of HR policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation and personnel files.
  • Assist in resolving routine employee queries and escalate complex matters appropriately.
  • Support HR initiatives relating to employee engagement, performance management, learning and development and employee relations.

4. Business Partnering

  • Partner closely with the Sales function to understand workforce needs and provide practical HR support.
  • Work with managers across the business to identify people-related challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide HR advice and guidance on employee and workforce matters within the scope of the role.
  • Support managers in implementing people initiatives that align with business objectives.
  • Develop strong working relationships with employees and departmental leaders.
  • Contribute HR insights that support better people and business decisions.

5. HR Reporting & Continuous Improvement

  • Prepare periodic HR reports, dashboards and workforce updates.
  • Analyse HR information to identify trends and support management decision-making.
  • Monitor key HR activities and ensure agreed actions are followed through.
  • Identify gaps in HR processes and recommend practical improvements.
  • Support the development and implementation of efficient HR systems and workflows.

REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate should have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Industrial Relations, Psychology or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years’ relevant HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong experience in recruitment and HR operations.
  • Good understanding of HR systems, employee databases and HR records management.
  • Good knowledge of employee lifecycle processes and HR administration.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with managers, employees and cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience working with an HRIS or other HR technology platforms will be an advantage.
