Role Purpose
The Facility Manager will manage and oversee the daily operations of a residential building operating under a hotel-style service concept.
This role is highly operational and requires continuous on-ground involvement to ensure that all services, staff, and facilities are functioning according to company standards.
The position involves coordinating multiple departments (housekeeping, security, technical, front desk) and ensuring consistent service delivery, maintenance standards, and resident satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Shall include but not limited to:
- Manage and oversee daily building operations across all departments
- Ensure all services (housekeeping, security, maintenance, front desk) are delivered according to company standards
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas, facilities, and apartments
- Follow up on maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution
- Coordinate with technical teams for repairs, preventive maintenance, and operational requirements
- Monitor staff performance, attendance, grooming, and service quality
- Ensure all staff follow operational procedures and service protocols
- Handle resident requests, complaints, and service issues in a timely and professional manner
- Manage and oversee apartment handovers and takeovers, ensuring units are ready and meet required standards
- Manage and oversee vendors, contractors, and external service providers
- Maintain proper records related to operations, maintenance, and service activities
- Identify operational gaps and escalate or resolve issues proactively
- Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are consistently maintained
Education and Technical Experience Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in residential, hospitality, or facility operations
- Experience in hotel, serviced apartments, or residential building operations is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of building operations, maintenance coordination, and service standards
- Ability to manage multiple teams and follow up consistently
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
