Job Description

About this Role

We are hiring a Brand & Marketing Lead for a culture-led strategy and brand firm. You will build and manage the firm’s external presence across social media, digital, editorial and marketing channels.

This is a hands-on creative role. You will move easily between content creation, graphic design, copywriting, social media, website updates and storytelling. You will work closely with the firm’s leadership to turn its work, perspective and relationships into a consistent, polished public brand. The focus is on producing excellent creative work quickly and consistently, not on developing high-level marketing strategy.

What you’ll do

• Manage the firm’s LinkedIn, Instagram and other priority channels day to day.

• Build and maintain a consistent content calendar.

• Design, write and publish content that showcases the firm’s work, ideas, partnerships, people and cultural perspective.

• Turn client projects, events, announcements, campaigns and industry moments into timely content.

• Develop recurring content formats that are efficient to produce and recognizable as the firm’s own.

• Keep the website current and manage editorial content.

• Track engagement and spot opportunities for the firm to join relevant conversations.

What you bring

• About 4 to 7 years of experience in brand marketing, content marketing, social media, creative marketing or a related field.

• Strong graphic design ability and excellent visual judgment.

• Fluency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and/or Canva.

• Strong copywriting and editing skills, particularly for executive, B2B and culturally relevant communications.

• Experience running LinkedIn and Instagram accounts for a company, founder, agency, studio or brand.

• The ability to produce polished carousels, graphics, social assets and presentations without an outside designer for routine work.

• Working knowledge of website platforms such as Squarespace, Webflow or WordPress.

• Basic photo and video editing skills.

• Experience building editorial calendars and managing content from idea through approval and publishing.

• A strong understanding of contemporary media, entertainment, sports, technology, fashion and culture.

• The ability to see what is interesting about a project and turn it into a compelling story.

• Strong project management and organizational skills.

• Comfort working across multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-moving environment.

• The ability to take a loose brief and return a finished product without extensive direction.

• Strong attention to detail and a high standard for creative presentation.

Especially valuable experience

Experience at or with any of the following will stand out: creative or brand agencies, entertainment or media companies, sports or culture-focused organizations, management or talent agencies, venture-backed companies, premium consumer brands, founder-led companies, or strategy and consulting firms with strong brand identities.

What this role is not

This role is not primarily for someone who develops marketing strategy, manages agencies, writes recommendations or advises on what to post. You will make the work yourself, moving from idea to copy, design, approval, publishing and measurement with minimal handholding.

Role details

• Fully remote, 40 hours a week, working US business hours.

• Open to women based in Nigeria, Ghana or Kenya.

• Selected candidates complete Path to Bloom, Bloom Talent’s professional certification, before starting.

How to apply

Apply by November 3, 2026. Include a link to your portfolio showing work you produced yourself, such as social campaigns, graphic design, websites, case studies, editorial content, brand systems or digital storytelling. Your portfolio matters more than your title or seniority.
