We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and customer-focused Assistant Restaurant Manager to support the daily operations of our restaurant in Ghana.

The successful candidate will assist the Restaurant Manager in supervising employees, maintaining excellent service standards, managing operational costs, and ensuring an outstanding experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

1. Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
2. Supervise, train, schedule, and motivate front-of-house employees.
3. Ensure guests receive professional, friendly, and efficient service.
4. Monitor service quality and respond promptly to guest concerns.
5. Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and timely service.
6. Conduct pre-shift briefings and assign duties to team members.
7. Ensure compliance with company policies and service procedures.
8. Monitor inventory levels and assist with purchasing and stock control.
9. Help control operating costs, minimize waste, and prevent losses.
10. Assist with cash handling, billing, daily reports, and closing procedures.
11. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
12. Support promotional activities, special events, and group bookings.
13. Help evaluate employee performance and identify training needs.
14. Take responsibility for restaurant operations when the Restaurant Manager is unavailable.

Candidate Requirements

1. Previous experience as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, Restaurant Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role.
2. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and customer-service standards.
3. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
4. Ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
5. Experience with staff scheduling, inventory control, and cost management.
6. Good knowledge of point-of-sale systems and cash-handling procedures.
7. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
8. Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment.
9. Good command of spoken and written English.
10. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
11. Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
12. Willingness and ability to relocate to Ghana, West Africa.
