Job Summary
The Transport Manager will oversee the company’s fleet operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and cost-effective transportation of goods and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage fleet operations including scheduling, routing, and dispatch
- Ensure compliance with transport regulations and safety standards
- Monitor vehicle maintenance, servicing, and fuel usage
- Optimize logistics to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Supervise drivers and transport staff
- Track deliveries and ensure timely distribution of goods
- Implement transport performance metrics and reporting systems
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in transport or fleet management
- Strong knowledge of logistics operations and fleet systems
- Leadership and team management skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with transport compliance and safety standards
