Overview Publicis West Africa is seeking a highly capable Senior Digital Account Manager to lead the delivery, performance, and growth of its digital client accounts. In this senior delivery role, you will own end‑to‑end execution across digital campaigns, acting as the primary day‑to‑day client lead and escalation point while ensuring work is delivered on time, on brief, and to agreed standards. The role balances practical digital strategy with hands‑on operational leadership, requiring a strong ability to translate client objectives into clear plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes. You will lead and develop Digital Account Managers/Executives and cross‑functional teams, maintain commercial and reporting discipline, and drive consistent quality across all outputs. This is a high‑impact role focused on dependable delivery, strong client partnerships, and sustained account performance across a fast‑moving portfolio.
Role Purpose
- Own digital account strategy, delivery, and performance for assigned clients
- Act as the senior day‑to‑day client lead and escalation point
- Lead and develop Digital Account Managers and account teams
- Drive account growth, quality, and commercial performance
Responsibilities
- Own senior client relationships and day‑to‑day account leadership
- Define digital account strategies aligned to client business objectives
- Translate clientobjectives into clear, measurable campaign plans
- Lead cross‑functional teams across strategy, creative, media, and production
- Oversee delivery quality and performance across all campaigns
- Set and review KPIs, reporting frameworks, andoptimisation plans
- Own account‑level budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Identifyand drive organic growth, upsell, and cross‑service opportunities
- Coach and performance‑manage Digital Account Managers and teams
Outcomes/KPIs
- Sustained achievement of account‑level KPIs across campaigns
- ≥95% on‑time and on‑budget delivery across the account
- Account revenue growth and client retention
- Budget variancemaintained within agreed thresholds
- High client satisfaction and team engagement scores
Qualifications Skills & Experience:
- 7–9 years’ experience in a digital or integrated agency environment
- Proven leadership of account teams and complex client portfolios
- Strong digital strategy, planning, andoptimisation capability
- Solid commercial acumen, including forecasting and margin control
- Excellent client leadership and senior stakeholder management skills
- Strong analytical, reporting, and presentation capability
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
