Activities
Work closely with the Salaries, Compensations & Benefits Manager to ensure that all Compensation and benefits -related transactions and deductions are processed accurately and on time.
Assist in managing the day-to-day employee benefits, including enrollments, updates due to life events and engagement with external stakeholders including GRA and SSNIT.
Assist in the preparation, monitoring and adjustment of the annual compensation and benefits Budget.
Assist in conducting job analysis and salary surveys to ensure the company’s pay structure is externally competitive and internally equitable.
Maintain and update the staff database, including personal and employment details
Ensure timely payment of statutory deductions (PAYE, Social Security, etc.) and file annual tax returns.
Take active part in annual in income tax audits and assist to prepare required payroll reports.
Assist in the management of pension schemes and staff shareholding processes.
Reconcile payroll entries with accounting records and administer staff loans.
Act as a point of contact for employees, responding to their inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and related policies, and providing guidance on available options.
Candidate Profile
- Must have good first-degree accounting (minimum of 2nd Class)
- Partly qualified with a recognized accounting body (ICAG, ACCA)
- Must have sound knowledge of recognized management software.
- Good Knowledge of the personal income tax laws.
- Must be computer literate.
- Must have at least 3 years’ experience, preferably, in salaries Administrator environment.
