Logistics Manager | Tema, Ghana
Department: Logistics & Supply Chain
Team Supervision: Warehouse Officers, Drivers, Forklift Operators, Loaders, and Logistics Assistants

Key Responsibilities
Logistics & Transportation Management
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics operations including transportation planning and delivery coordination.
• Coordinate with clearing agents, transit teams, and transporters to ensure timely movement of goods.
• Liaise with Customs authorities (CEPS) to ensure compliance with import/export procedures.
• Develop efficient dispatch schedules and delivery routes.
• Monitor transport operations to improve delivery timelines and cost efficiency.
• Ensure all logistics operations comply with regulatory and company standards.

Warehouse Operations
• Supervise warehouse receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch operations.
• Maintain efficient warehouse layout, stock organization, and material handling processes.
• Enforce warehouse safety procedures and operational compliance.
• Oversee documentation including Goods Received Notes (GRN), delivery notes, waybills, and stock records.
• Ensure proper storage and stock rotation of finished products.

Inventory & Stock Management
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure operational efficiency and stock accuracy.
• Review daily stock reports and inventory reconciliations.
• Conduct periodic stock counts and variance analysis.
• Identify inventory trends and implement corrective measures to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Documentation & Regulatory Compliance
• Oversee preparation and verification of logistics, warehousing, and export documentation.
• Ensure proper ex-warehousing procedures and documentation accuracy.
• Supervise the preparation and verification of waybills and transport documentation.
• Maintain compliance with Ghana customs and logistics regulations.

Qualifications & Experience
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
✔ Minimum 5 – 8 years experience in logistics, warehouse management, or supply chain operations.
✔ Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or FMCG environments is highly preferred.
✔ Strong knowledge of customs procedures, CEPS requirements, and logistics regulations.
✔ Experience with ex-warehousing and material balancing is required.
✔ Experience working within a unionized (ICU) operational environment is an advantage.
