Role Summary

The IT Officer will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the organization’s technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance, safeguarding information security, and providing technical support to internal users. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and security of the company’s IT systems and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor the company’s IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and systems.
  • Manage and update company websites and digital platforms.
  • Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of organizational data and systems.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to employees.
  • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements where necessary.
  • Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software applications.
  • Manage backups, disaster recovery procedures, and cybersecurity protocols.
  • Support the implementation of new technologies and IT projects.
  • Maintain IT documentation, inventories, and user access controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of relevant IT support or systems administration experience.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, website management, cybersecurity, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with Microsoft environments, cloud solutions, and database management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
