Job Description
Job Purpose
The Courier Growth Associate is responsible for driving courier acquisition, engagement, retention, and supply coverage within assigned territories. The role focuses on recruiting and onboarding qualified couriers, building strong relationships with rider communities, maintaining adequate courier capacity, and ensuring optimal operational performance across the assigned territory.
The successful candidate will serve as the primary field representative responsible for expanding the courier network, monitoring courier productivity, and ensuring that territory supply targets are achieved to support business growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Courier Acquisition & Recruitment
- Plan and execute courier recruitment campaigns within assigned territories.
- Identify, attract, and onboard qualified courier partners to meet operational demand.
- Build strategic relationships with rider communities, referral networks, and local associations to generate a continuous pipeline of courier candidates.
- Conduct screening, interviews, assessments, and selection activities for prospective couriers.
- Maintain an active database and recruitment pipeline of potential courier partners.
Territory Management
- Manage courier supply coverage across assigned territories to ensure adequate operational capacity.
- Monitor courier headcount and availability to meet business requirements.
- Analyze territory performance and identify opportunities to improve courier penetration and coverage.
- Ensure supply targets and territory growth objectives are consistently achieved.
Courier Engagement & Retention
- Build and maintain strong relationships with active couriers.
- Organize engagement sessions, orientation programs, and field meetings to improve courier satisfaction and productivity.
- Support courier retention initiatives aimed at reducing attrition.
- Address courier concerns and provide timely solutions to operational challenges.
- Promote compliance with company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Field Operations Support
- Conduct regular field visits to monitor courier performance and operational effectiveness.
- Investigate and resolve courier-related operational issues within assigned territories.
- Monitor courier attendance, activity levels, and service availability.
- Collaborate with operations teams to address service gaps and improve delivery efficiency.
Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track courier acquisition, activation, retention, and engagement metrics.
- Prepare periodic reports on recruitment performance, territory coverage, and courier productivity.
- Maintain accurate records of courier onboarding and engagement activities.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve courier growth strategies.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
The Courier Growth Associate will be evaluated on:
- Number of couriers recruited and onboarded.
- Courier activation and retention rates.
- Territory supply coverage levels.
- Courier engagement and satisfaction scores.
- Achievement of territory growth targets.
- Reduction in courier attrition rates.
- Timely resolution of courier operational issues.
- Compliance with recruitment and onboarding standards.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualification
- Higher National Diploma (HND), Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Human Resource Management, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in:

Experience working in logistics, ride-hailing, e-commerce, courier services, or gig-economy platforms will be an added advantage.

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive monthly salary of GHS 2,000
