We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Operations Head (B2B) to lead our commercial strategy, strengthen strategic partnerships, and drive sustainable business growth across our technology solutions portfolio.

Position Summary

The Commercial Operations Head will be responsible for leading the organization’s B2B commercial operations by developing and executing revenue growth strategies, building and managing strategic client relationships, and leading a high-performing commercial team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding market share, improving customer engagement, and ensuring commercial excellence across all business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Commercial Strategy & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute comprehensive B2B commercial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Identify new business opportunities and emerging markets to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead market expansion initiatives and strategic sales campaigns.
  • Monitor industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Drive achievement of sales and revenue targets.

Business Development & Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with enterprise clients, strategic partners, and key stakeholders.
  • Identify, negotiate, and close high-value business opportunities.
  • Lead contract negotiations and commercial discussions with prospective and existing clients.
  • Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and long-term account retention.

Commercial Operations Management

  • Oversee daily commercial operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop commercial policies, procedures, and performance standards.
  • Monitor sales performance, commercial KPIs, and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with technical, marketing, finance, and project teams to ensure seamless service delivery.

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
  • Set clear objectives, performance expectations, and development plans.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and coaching sessions.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Represent the organization during client meetings, business forums, and industry events.
  • Build strategic alliances with technology partners and corporate organizations.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership in defining long-term commercial objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Management, or a related field.
  • A Master’s Degree (MBA or related qualification) is an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 7–10 years of progressive experience in B2B sales, commercial operations, or business development.
  • Demonstrated experience leading commercial teams and managing large corporate accounts.
  • Experience within the technology, ICT, cloud services, or digital transformation industry is highly desirable.
