About the Job
For our regional team in Accra, Ghana, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Administrative Officer.
In this role, you will help ensure that our regional operations run smoothly by supporting contracts, documentation, and administrative coordination across the team.
Your work will help colleagues focus on what matters most: empowering farmer organisations and strengthening rural communities across West Africa.
Your main responsibilities
You will:
- Prepare and manage client contracts, employee agreements, and administrative documentation
- Support the onboarding of new staff and consultants across the region
- Maintain organised records of contracts, correspondence, and administrative files
- Assist in preparing official letters, documentation, and reports
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, travel, and regional activities
- Ensure compliance with internal administrative procedures and documentation standards
- Provide administrative support to the Regional Operations Manager
What you bring
You are organised, reliable, and comfortable working in an international environment.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an administrative or operations support role
- Experience in an international organisation, NGO, or multinational environment is an advantage
- Experience managing contracts, documentation, and administrative coordination
Competencies
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)
- Strong organisation and documentation skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple administrative tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to work independently while supporting a geographically dispersed team
