About the Role
Sizanid Staffing is seeking a highly driven and strategic Sales Manager (Events) to join our team in Ghana. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading event sales initiatives, driving revenue growth, managing event budgets, and developing impactful corporate and job seeker-focused events that strengthen brand visibility and generate business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to consistently meet and exceed sales and revenue targets.
- Develop and execute strategic event sales plans tailored toward job seekers, corporate organizations, and HR industry stakeholders.
- Create and manage event sales budgets while ensuring strict adherence to approved financial plans and profitability goals.
- Plan and coordinate revenue-generating events including webinars, seminars, career fairs, networking sessions, and virtual engagements.
- Forecast event sales revenue, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to improve profitability and attendance.
- Develop and organize high-level corporate engagement events targeted at Managing Directors, CEOs, HR Managers, and other business leaders to showcase the company’s HR and recruitment solutions.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, sponsorships, and collaborations within the HR and events ecosystem.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and key stakeholders to ensure successful event execution and long-term business growth.
- Develop effective vendor management and negotiation strategies to ensure quality service delivery within budget.
- Prepare sales reports, revenue forecasts, and market analysis reports to support strategic business decisions.
- Ensure all events are professionally executed, revenue-focused, and aligned with organizational objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 7 years working experience with at least 3 years’ experience in a managerial role within event sales, business development, or event management.
- Proven experience in both sales and event management, preferably within the HR, recruitment, consulting, or professional services industry.
- Strong experience managing and leading sales teams to achieve measurable targets.
- Demonstrated ability to develop event sales strategies, budgets, and revenue forecasts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of virtual and physical event planning and execution.
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and virtual collaboration platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a remote work environment while managing multiple projects effectively.
- International exposure or experience working in a remote/global work setting will be a strong advantage..
