Sizanid Staffing, a leader in the staffing industry known for its innovative approach combining smart technology, AI, and human insight, is seeking a dedicated Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and efficient operation of our office in Accra, Ghana. As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our workplace infrastructure meets the highest standards of safety, functionality, and comfort, supporting the productivity and well-being of our employees. This role requires a proactive individual who excels in managing multiple facilities projects, vendor relationships, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain office facilities to ensure a safe, clean, and efficient working environment.
  • Coordinate repairs, maintenance, and upgrades of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
  • Oversee contracts with vendors, service providers, and contractors; negotiate service agreements and monitored budgets.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and repair costs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Coordinate office moves, space planning, and workplace ergonomics initiatives.
  • Manage facility-related procurement, including supplies and equipment necessary for office operations.
  • Respond promptly to facility-related emergencies and service requests.
  • Collaborate with HR and Operations teams to support employee needs and workplace enhancements.

Requirements

  • 7 years Proven experience with at least 3 years as a Facilities Manager or in a similar role maintaining office or commercial building facilities.
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and health and safety regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Effective vendor management and negotiation abilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Facility Management Professional, OSHA) are a plus.
