Programme Officer – SameSame

Job Description

SameSame is looking for a Ghana Programme Officer to help us launch our first programme on the ground in Accra.
The project supports tertiary students in Ghana through their transition into university life, with a particular focus on mental health, bullying prevention, and creating more inclusive campus environments.

This role is perfect for someone who is:

— Based in Accra, well-connected in the youth and NGO space
— Comfortable in front of a camera and fluent in how content lands on TikTok and Instagram in Ghana
— Organized enough to keep a complex project on track with a distributed team
— Thoughtful, warm, and deeply committed to the well-being of young people from marginalized communities

It’s a contractor role at ~50% of full-time, remote-first with in-person time on the partner university campus. That means it can sit alongside other commitments — we’re explicitly open to candidates at different career stages.
