Role Summary
The Business Development Manager at The Bank Hospital is responsible for identifying and driving new business opportunities, target markets, and service offerings.
The role focuses on increasing revenue through:
- Corporate clients (new and dormant)
- Government institutions
- NGOs
- Private insurance partnerships
The position requires strong knowledge of the private healthcare landscape, including key market players, clinicians, and pricing structures.
You will represent the Hospital externally and implement effective business development strategies aimed at:
- Sustainable financial growth
- Contract acquisition
- Building strong client relationships
All client activities and revenue opportunities must be tracked via the Hospital’s CRM system. Performance will be measured based on KPIs, revenue targets, and client retention.

Key Responsibilities
1. Operational Efficiency
- Understand and anticipate customer and market needs within private, corporate, and insurance segments
- Develop and implement growth strategies aligned with revenue targets
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients
- Possess in-depth knowledge of healthcare products and value propositions
- Prepare business proposals with financial justifications
- Identify business strengths and customer needs
- Research new business opportunities and revenue streams
- Monitor local and international industry trends
- Draft, review, and finalize contracts
- Develop compelling concept papers and proposals
- Close new business deals and secure contracts (target: minimum of 5 per month)
- Manage multiple project timelines effectively
- Track all business activities through the CRM portal
- Acquire new corporate clients and reactivate dormant accounts
- Engage government institutions and agencies for healthcare partnerships
- Identify and onboard NGO and third-sector clients
- Drive the Annual Medical Examination (AME) programme
- Build relationships with private health insurance providers
- Ensure all revenue activities are properly documented and reported
- Achieve assigned financial targets
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Expand the client base
- Negotiate effectively with stakeholders
- Build and sustain long-term client relationships
3. Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI)
- Identify and resolve process inefficiencies
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships

Educational & Professional Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Development, Economics, Finance, or Marketing (required)
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Communication, or Business (preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in business development or marketing within the healthcare sector
- Experience in startups or healthcare environments is an advantage
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets
- Experience designing and implementing business development strategies
