Job Summary
The Procurement Manager will lead sourcing and purchasing activities, ensuring the availability of quality materials and services at optimal cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procurement strategies
- Source, negotiate, and manage supplier relationships
- Ensure timely procurement of raw materials and services
- Monitor market trends and pricing for cost optimization
- Maintain procurement records and compliance standards
- Collaborate with production and finance teams
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and supplier performance reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, or related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS) is an advantage
- Minimum of 5 years experience in procurement, preferably in manufacturing
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Knowledge of procurement systems and best practices
