Job Description

The Business Development Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth new business opportunities, acquiring corporate clients, and managing sales of vehicles and fleet solutions, with a strong focus on achieving sales targets and building a sustainable pipeline.

Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
  • Identify, develop, and close vehicle sales opportunities
  • Drive both retail and corporate vehicle sales

Market Intelligence & Strategy

  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and pricing
  • Provide insights to management to support business strategy

Corporate & Fleet Business Development

  • Develop and manage relationships with banks, corporates, and institutions
  • Source fleet supply and leasing opportunities
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender submissions

Cross-Divisional Collaboration

  • Identify and support cross-selling opportunities within the Auto & Logistics Division
  • Collaborate with Haulage Contractors and F&B Depot where relevant

Client Relationship Management

  • Maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and product demonstrations
  • Ensure high customer satisfaction and retention

Sales & Pipeline Reporting

  • Maintain an updated sales pipeline and opportunity tracker
  • Submit weekly and monthly sales reports
  • Ensure all transactions are captured in Odoo ERP

Competency Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field

Experience

3–5 years in sales (automotive or B2B preferred)

Experience in vehicle sales, fleet management, or corporate sales is an advantage

Technical

Excellent communication and presentation abilities

Relationship management and networking capability

Commercial awareness and analytical thinking

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems (Odoo preferred)
