Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
📌 Oversee end-to-end financial management of sorghum operations, including procurement budgeting and cost control.
📌 Lead financial analysis for pricing strategies, market fluctuations, and monthly business performance.
📌 Supervise the Account Officer and ensure compliance with internal policies and statutory requirements.
📌 Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and field teams to ensure accurate cost allocation.
📌 Manage financial reporting and interface with auditors, banks, and regulatory institutions.
📌 Develop financial controls for aggregation centres, farmer payment frameworks, and supply chain operations.

Qualifications & Experience:
📌 Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (ACCA, ICA, CIMA) is an advantage.
📌 Minimum 5–7 years’ experience in accounting or financial management.
📌 Strong background in agribusiness, commodity trading, or the sorghum value chain.
📌 Excellent leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
📌 Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
