Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead the sales function for the sorghum division, driving revenue and market share growth.
✅ Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends.
✅ Conduct high-level negotiations with major buyers, breweries, processors, and distributors.
✅ Oversee customer relationship management and ensure excellent service delivery.
✅ Analyze market trends, pricing patterns, and competitor activity to inform decision-making.
✅ Prepare sales budgets, forecasts, and performance reports.
✅ Manage and mentor Sales Officers, ensuring achievement of individual and team targets.

Qualifications & Experience:
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Agribusiness, or related field.
✅ 5–7+ years’ experience in sales and business development; commodity trading or sorghum experience is highly preferred.
✅ Strong leadership and strategic planning capabilities.
✅ Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
✅ Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.
✅ Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
