Job Description

MSI Ghana invites applications from qualified, experienced, and values-driven professionals for the position of Procurement Manager.

Position Details
• Role: Procurement Manager
• Location: Accra, Ghana
• Employment Type: Full-time
• Reporting Line: Director of Finance
• Probation: 3 months.

Role Purpose
The Procurement Manager is responsible for leading and strengthening the procurement function to ensure value for money, transparency, compliance, and risk mitigation across all purchasing activities. The role provides strategic oversight of procurement planning, vendor management, contract administration, and internal controls in line with organizational policies, donor regulations, and Ghanaian law.

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Finance, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification in procurement (CIPS or equivalent) preferred.

Skills and Experience
• 7–10 years of progressive procurement experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in healthcare procurement is a plus.
• Strong ethics and compliance orientation.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• High attention to detail and documentation discipline.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
• Knowledge of business commercialization, cost management, and value-for-money principles.
