Job Description

Project Maji is a Safe Water Enterprise (SWE) that seeks to make safe water accessible to hard-to-reach areas in sub-Saharan Africa and beyond. We develop and deploy fit-for-purpose solar powered water solutions in the world’s most remote rural communities. Since 2015, Project Maji has empowered more than 300,000 people across Kenya, Ghana and Uganda & served millions of liters of safe water via our 450+ solar-powered water access points. Project Maji’s operation in Ghana is mostly located in Ahafo, Central. Eastern and Volta regions are currently expanding its operations.

Project Maji therefore seeks an Office Administrator in its Ghana office who will support its office engagement activities

Responsibilities

• Managing official documents
• Filing of project documents
• Updating key files and databases relating to community development
• Supporting and preparing financial documents
• Reporting writing
• Coordinate between field staff and project director
• Any other duties assigned by Project Director

Qualification Required & Experience

• HND/BSc in Business management and administration
• 2 years experience in similar role
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and
• Familiar with office management software
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism and a positive attitude
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
