  • Plan, organise, and monitor transportation and distribution activities to ensure efficient delivery to customers and other designated locations.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve operational efficiency, minimise delays, and optimise transportation costs.
  • Coordinate with transport service providers, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless logistics operations.
  • Monitor delivery schedules and resolve logistical challenges that may affect the timely movement of goods.

  • Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring the effective receipt, storage, handling, and dispatch of goods.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure accurate inventory records to prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and inventory losses.
  • Establish and maintain effective inventory control procedures and stock management systems.
  • Ensure regular stocktaking, inventory reconciliation, and investigation of stock discrepancies.
  • Maintain proper warehouse organisation, safety, and storage standards.

3. Supply Chain Coordination

  • Coordinate logistics activities with procurement, production, sales, and other relevant departments to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
  • Monitor the availability and movement of raw materials, finished goods, and other operational supplies.
  • Work closely with suppliers and distribution partners to improve service delivery and supply chain performance.
  • Identify potential supply chain disruptions and implement appropriate measures to minimise operational risks.

4. Compliance and Operational Excellence

  • Ensure logistics and warehouse operations comply with applicable laws, regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate logistics, inventory, transportation, and warehouse documentation.
  • Monitor logistics performance and prepare periodic operational reports for management.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline logistics processes, improve productivity, and reduce operational costs.
  • Implement best practices in logistics, inventory management, and distribution operations.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–6 years of relevant experience in logistics and warehouse management, preferably within the manufacturing, agro-allied, or FMCG sectors.
  • Strong practical experience in logistics operations, supply chain coordination, and warehouse management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in inventory and stock management systems.
  • Good understanding of transportation, distribution, and warehouse operations.
  • Experience in the logistics or supply chain industry will be strongly preferred.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent knowledge of logistics, warehousing, and supply chain management principles.
  • Proficiency in inventory management systems and relevant logistics software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
