Job Description
The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing and coordinating the Council’s procurement activities in accordance with applicable procurement laws, regulations, policies, and best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and coordinate procurement plans and schedules.
- Manage the procurement of goods, works, and services.
- Prepare and review procurement documentation.
- Coordinate supplier and contractor selection processes.
- Maintain effective supplier and vendor relationships.
- Ensure procurement activities are conducted transparently, competitively, and efficiently.
- Monitor supplier performance and contract compliance.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Support procurement audits and ensure compliance with applicable procurement requirements.
- Provide professional procurement advice to management and relevant departments.
Expected Profile
Applicants should possess relevant academic and/or professional qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing and Supply, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline, with relevant practical experience.
