About Us
Landstar Reload Freight Global is a U.S.–Ghana-based logistics and transportation agency specializing in freight dispatching, direct shipper management, and operations across North America. We are expanding and looking for a reliable, detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to support our daily operations.
Key Responsibilities
Shipment Coordination
- Arrange transport across air, ocean, and ground modes; schedule pickups and deliveries; optimize routes.
Documentation Management
- Prepare and review Bills of Lading, air waybills, commercial invoices, and customs declarations.
Client Communication
- Provide proactive updates on shipment status, delays, and delivery confirmations.
Rate Negotiation
- Solicit and negotiate freight rates with carriers and 3PL providers to secure competitive pricing.
Shipment Tracking
- Monitor cargo in transit using Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and resolve exceptions.
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure adherence to FMC, TSA, IATA, and US Customs regulations for domestic and international freight.
Warehouse Coordination
- Schedule inbound/outbound freight, oversee loading/unloading, and manage dock appointments.
Problem Resolution
- Investigate damages, shortages, billing errors, and initiate claims when necessary.
Route Optimization
- Select carriers and routes to minimize costs and transit times.
Record Keeping
- Maintain shipment records, costs, and

- Excellent computer skills (Google Sheets, Docs, and CRM familiarity preferred).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Reliable, disciplined, and able to work full-time.
