Job Description

Are you an experienced IT professional with a passion for technology, systems administration, and delivering exceptional technical support? NCLL is seeking a proactive, skilled, and solution-oriented IT Coordinator to oversee the organization’s IT infrastructure and provide reliable technical support across all departments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, security, availability, and continuous improvement of the company’s information technology systems while supporting employees with their day-to-day IT needs.

Position Summary

As the IT Coordinator, you will manage and maintain the organization’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, computer systems, software, and communication technologies. You will play a critical role in ensuring business continuity through effective system administration, cybersecurity, data backup, and technical support while recommending innovative technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

IT Infrastructure Management

  • Manage, maintain, and monitor the company’s IT infrastructure, including computers, servers, networks, storage devices, and peripheral equipment.
  • Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and availability of all IT systems.
  • Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and software installations.

Technical Support

  • Provide first- and second-level technical support to employees across all departments.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, operating system, and network-related issues.
  • Respond promptly to IT support requests while ensuring minimal downtime.

Microsoft 365 Administration

  • Administer Microsoft 365 services, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Exchange.
  • Create, manage, and deactivate user accounts.
  • Configure user permissions and access rights.
  • Support email administration and security.

Hardware & Equipment Management

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, scanners, biometric devices, CCTV systems, and other IT equipment.
  • Coordinate repairs and maintenance of faulty equipment.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets.

Network Administration

  • Monitor network performance and ensure stable internet connectivity.
  • Troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and network security issues.
  • Configure and maintain routers, switches, and firewalls.

Cybersecurity & Data Protection

  • Implement cybersecurity best practices to safeguard company information.
  • Manage antivirus solutions, endpoint security, and access controls.
  • Perform routine data backups and disaster recovery procedures.
  • Monitor systems for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.

Vendor & Service Provider Management

  • Coordinate with external IT vendors, consultants, and service providers.
  • Monitor service level agreements and vendor performance.
  • Support the procurement and installation of IT hardware and software.

Technology Improvement

  • Identify opportunities to improve business processes through technology.
  • Recommend and implement new IT solutions that enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Assist management with IT planning and digital transformation initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants should possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience in IT support, systems administration, or network administration.
  • Strong understanding of:
    • Microsoft Windows Operating Systems
    • Microsoft 365 Administration
    • Computer Networking
    • Cybersecurity
  • Experience working with ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of CCTV systems, biometric access control systems, and cloud-based technologies is desirable.
