About the Opportunity
EMWA Insurance Brokers is seeking a dynamic, results-driven, and relationship-oriented professional to join its Sales & Marketing team as an Assistant Manager.
The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business development, strengthening client relationships, expanding the company’s market presence, and supporting the growth of its corporate and financial-sector insurance portfolio. This portfolio includes specialized insurance products such as Cyber Insurance, Bankers Blanket Bond, Asset All Risk, and Directors & Officers (D&O) Liability Insurance.

Key Responsibilities
As the Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing, you will be responsible for:
- Supporting and helping to lead the Sales & Marketing team in achieving business growth and revenue targets.
- Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to expand the company’s client portfolio.
- Building, managing, and strengthening long-term relationships with key corporate and institutional clients.
- Developing client engagement strategies that promote customer satisfaction and retention.
- Preparing and contributing to sales presentations, business proposals, tender documents, and marketing materials.
- Supporting brand positioning and business development initiatives.
- Collaborating closely with underwriters and insurance partners to secure appropriate insurance solutions for clients.
- Assisting with negotiations and placement of insurance policies.
- Monitoring market trends and identifying opportunities for new products and services.
- Representing the company professionally during client meetings, networking events, and business engagements.
Minimum Qualification
Applicants must possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant discipline.
- A CIIG (Chartered Insurance Institute of Ghana) Diploma or higher professional qualification.
Candidate Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Sales & Marketing, Insurance, or a related field.
- A CIIG Diploma or higher professional certification.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant professional experience in sales, marketing, insurance, or business development.
- Proven experience in client relationship management and business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
- A proactive, target-driven, and results-oriented mindset.
- The ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High levels of professionalism, integrity, and customer focus.
