Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the end-to-end export documentation process, ensuring all
export transactions are completed accurately, timely, and in compliance with regulatory
requirements. - Prepare, review, and process all export documentation, including Commercial Invoices,
- Packing Lists, Bills of Entry (BOE), Certificates of Origin, Bills of Lading, Letters of Credit
(LC) documentation, Export Declarations, and other supporting documents required for
export transactions. - Liaise with clearing agents, freight forwarders, shipping lines, banks, customers, and
regulatory authorities to facilitate the smooth execution of export transactions from
order confirmation through final receipt of export proceeds. - Reconcile Bills of Entry (BOE), export invoices, shipping documents, and customer
records to ensure completeness, accuracy, and proper accounting of all export
transactions. - Prepare periodic reconciliations of export sales, BOEs, Duty drawback claims, customer
collections, and outstanding export proceeds for management review. - Prepare, submit, and reconcile Duty Drawback claims, ensuring all claims are supported
by appropriate documentation and recovered within the required timelines. - Coordinate documentation relating to sales made to Free Zone companies and ensure
compliance with all statutory, customs, tax, and regulatory requirements governing such
transactions. - Liaise with banks on export-related transactions, including Letters of Credit (LCs), export
proceeds, trade finance documentation, and other banking requirements. - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all export transactions, statutory filings,
permits, certificates, BOEs, and supporting documentation to facilitate audits and
regulatory inspections. - Prepare and submit periodic reports on export performance, outstanding export
proceeds, BOE status, Duty Drawback claims, and compliance matters to the Finance
Manager and other designated divisional managers. - Support internal and external audits by providing export schedules, reconciliations,
documentation, and explanations relating to export transactions. - Perform any other duties assigned by Management in support of export administration,
compliance, and customer service activities.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS - Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Logistics, Supply
Chain Management, International Trade, or a related field. - Professional qualification or part qualification in Accounting, Finance, Logistics, or
International Trade will be an added advantage. - Minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience in export administration, export
documentation, shipping, logistics, or international trade operations. - Sound knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations, export documentation
requirements, and international trade practices.
