Job Description
Reports to: Deputy CFO Manufacturing Group
Job Location: Spintex (Polytanks Ghana)
Department: Accounts
- Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and
management reports in compliance with applicable accounting standards, statutory
requirements, and organizational policies. - Oversee the integrity of the general ledger by reviewing accounting transactions, journal
entries, and ledger balances, while ensuring timely month-end and year-end financial
close processes. - Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely settlement
of supplier obligations, effective collection of outstanding receivables, and continuous
monitoring of aged balances. - Supervise payroll administration, ensuring the accurate and timely processing of
employee salaries, statutory deductions, payroll reconciliations, and related reporting
requirements. - Ensure timely computation, reconciliation, filing, and settlement of all statutory
obligations, including taxes, social security contributions, and other regulatory liabilities. - Oversee inventory accounting for raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods,
ensuring accurate valuation, reconciliation with physical stock counts, and appropriate
provisioning for obsolete or slow-moving inventory. - Supervise cash management activities, including the monitoring of cash flows, oversight
of bank accounts, review of bank reconciliations, and maintenance of adequate liquidity
to support operational requirements. - And any other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications & Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Roth, Masters & Professional
qualification (ACCA/CPA/ICAG) - Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of progressive accounting/finance experience,
preferably in manufacturing - Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Orion, Tally), advanced MS Excel, and
financial modeling - Knowledge: Strong understanding of Ghana tax laws, II• RS, and manufacturing cost
accounting - Soft Skills: Leadership, analytical thinking, integrity, attention to detail, and excellent
communication skills
