Accountant  – SkyNet Express Limited

Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Accountant to drive strategic decision-making, and ensure the company’s financial health and compliance.  

Responsibilities:

1. The performance of financial management duties which include generating financial data, compiling and submitting reports, analyzing industry trends and assessing the financial health of the company.

2. Overseeing the operations and development of the company’s finance departments including creating and reviewing policies, budgeting, recruiting, training and conducting regular assessments of financial procedures.

3. Ensure the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual account reconciliations and reporting.

4. Develop budgets based on forecast and analyze to ensure that the company’s expenditure is within budget.

Skills & Competencies:

– Strong technical accounting knowledge

– Excel and modelling

– Creating statutory accounts

– Ability to delegate and manage the work of others

– Experience with QuickBooks and other accounting software

– Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)

– Experience running annual audit

Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting
• 7 years proven accounting experience (preferably in the transportation Industry)
• Knowledge of Accounting procedures and principles.
• Computer literate
• Age: 37 years and above
• Must be married
