About the Role
A reputable agro-industrial company is seeking a highly organized, vigilant, and detail-oriented professional to join its team as a Logistics Assistant.
The successful candidate will provide administrative support for logistics and supply chain operations while also assisting in maintaining a safe and secure working environment. The role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational, communication, and record-keeping skills who can effectively support operational efficiency and security compliance.
Key Responsibilities
Logistics Administration
- Provide administrative support to logistics and supply chain operations.
- Prepare, organize, update, and maintain logistics documentation and records.
- Coordinate documentation related to inventory movement, deliveries, and transportation activities.
- Ensure accurate filing and retrieval of operational records and reports.
- Support the logistics team in tracking shipments and maintaining operational schedules.
Security Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections of assigned areas to ensure safety and security compliance.
- Monitor activities within the premises and promptly report suspicious behavior or security concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of visitors, contractors, and security incidents.
- Assist in enforcing company security policies and procedures.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies, incidents, and security breaches.
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare routine reports on logistics activities and security observations.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, investigations, and corrective actions.
- Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and submitted within required timelines.
Operational Support
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth operational activities.
- Assist with inventory control and supply chain coordination activities when required.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management from time to time.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience in logistics, supply chain administration, security operations, or a related role.
- Experience within a manufacturing, agro-processing, logistics, or industrial environment will be an advantage.

Working Conditions
