Job Description
1) Job Purpose
The purpose of the Job is to achieve set production targets of the Printing Units in each plant.

3) Principal Accountabilities
Process Control
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Printing Machines and the realization of production targets.
- Provide support to the supervisor to manage the department.
- Ensuring quality with minimum waste and be compliant with safety measures.
- Ensure daily shift goals and metrics of the printing jobs are met with process adherence.
- Ensure slitting jobs are done to approved specifications.
- Ensure adherence to quality that meet given customer requirement to avoid customer complaints, also compliance to SOPs.
- Ensure Machine cleaning and provide assistance in machine maintenance.
- Continuous and ongoing process implementation and improvement.
- Participate in Audits, training Local employees & implementation of SOPs.
- Communicates quality metric to staff.
Quality & Compliance
- Provide assistance in Development of New Products and support to customers.
- Good in GMPs and must have worked in ISO quality management systems environment.
- Perform Quality Control checks.
People Management & Resource Utilization
- Ensuring effective utilization of all resources including the Human Resource.
- Good managing skills with a track record of developing individuals. Good Team player.
- Manpower Planning & Budgeting as per the agreed cost and productivity norms.
- Ensuring Interdepartment workflow is smooth and well coordinated.

Technical or Functional Competencies
- Working process knowledge of Inks and Printing Operations for multiyear Flexible Packaging manufacturing.
- Operation of Ink is an added advantage.
- Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.

5) Job Purpose of Direct Reports
The Job purpose of the direct reportees is to achieve the overall Production targets of the Printing department as per the agreed costs and norms.

All departments & Functions within the Factory: On a day-to-day basis
General Manager: As & when required
Operations Head & Outlets Team: On a regular basis
Finance & Accounts Department: As & when required
HR Department: On all HR related matters (Recruitment, Salaries, Confirmations, Transfers etc.)
Admin: On all admin related issues
Government Departments & External Agencies: As & when required
Vendors – External: As & when required
