About the Role

WeGoo is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Courier Growth Associate to support the onboarding, development, compliance, and performance management of its courier network. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that couriers meet operational standards, comply with company policies, and consistently deliver excellent service quality.

This position combines responsibilities in onboarding, training, compliance monitoring, quality assurance, documentation management, and courier engagement to support the company’s growing delivery operations.

Key Responsibilities

Courier Onboarding & Induction

  • Verify courier applications, documentation, and eligibility requirements.
  • Conduct onboarding sessions and orientation programs for newly recruited couriers.
  • Ensure all couriers understand company policies, procedures, and service expectations.
  • Support the smooth integration of new couriers into daily operations.

Training & Development

  • Facilitate induction and refresher training programs.
  • Coach couriers on operational best practices, customer service standards, and safety requirements.
  • Identify knowledge gaps and recommend training interventions.
  • Monitor training effectiveness and maintain training records.

Compliance Management

  • Ensure couriers comply with operational procedures, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct routine compliance checks and audits.
  • Track compliance performance and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.

Quality Assurance

  • Monitor courier performance metrics and service quality indicators.
  • Review customer feedback, complaints, and service reports.
  • Identify recurring service issues and implement improvement initiatives.
  • Support the development of quality improvement strategies.

Courier Performance Management

  • Monitor courier productivity, attendance, and adherence to service standards.
  • Address performance concerns through coaching, corrective actions, and escalation processes.
  • Assist in managing disciplinary procedures where necessary.
  • Support performance improvement plans and follow-up actions.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate courier records, files, and operational documentation.
  • Prepare compliance, quality, and performance reports for management.
  • Track key operational metrics and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Ensure all courier information is updated and securely maintained.

Communication & Engagement

  • Serve as a key point of contact for courier-related communication.
  • Coordinate the dissemination of policy updates, operational changes, and company announcements.
  • Build positive relationships with couriers and encourage engagement.
  • Escalate operational concerns and feedback to management.

Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • HND, Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in operations, compliance, training, logistics, fleet management, quality assurance, or a related role.
  • Experience working in logistics, transportation, delivery services, e-commerce, or courier operations is an advantage.

  • Courier onboarding completion rate.
  • Training participation and effectiveness scores.
  • Compliance audit results.
  • Courier documentation accuracy.
  • Service quality and customer satisfaction ratings.
  • Reduction in policy violations and operational incidents.
  • Timeliness and accuracy of reporting.
  • Courier retention and engagement levels.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Monthly salary of GHS 2,000.
  • Performance bonus of GHS 500 per month (subject to performance targets).
