Job Summary
The purpose of the role of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure the effective and efficient day-to-day running of all Kasapreko PLC’s warehouses and redistribution centers in the middle and upper part of Ghana.
Job Details
The Warehouse Manager shall be responsible for:
- Having a clear understanding of the company’s policies and vision and how the warehouse contributes to these liaising with distributors, and transporters.
- Plan, coordinate and monitor all Inbound, Outbound and other operational or internal activities of warehousing and inventory management.
- Motivating, organizing and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded.
- Responsible or the efficient utilization of space and mechanical handling equipment, ensuring quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
- Coordinate the use of automated and computerized Warehouse Management Systems (RFID, Scanners) where utilized.
- Responsible for effectively responding to and dealing with customer communication by email and telephone and in person.
- Responsible for keeping stock control systems up to date and ensuring inventory accuracy.
- Plan future capacity requirements.
- Support the recruitment and training of staff, provide effective coaching, training and development interventions and conduct formal appraisals of staff performance and progress.
- Produce regular analytical reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Visit customers to monitor the quality of service they are receiving.
- Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security in the work environment, for example, ensuring that stocks are stored safely.
- Proactively manage third party contractors to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency

Qualification:
- Minium a degree in Economics, Mathematics, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Management or Accounting.
- 10 years’ relevant experience in Warehousing.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG operations as a Manager/Supervisor
- Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Power Point and any other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Software, preferably SAP.
