Job Description
JOB PURPOSE
To support the retention of long-term quality clients and optimize profitability by ensuring that each construction project is delivered in accordance with the design, specifications, schedule, prescribed quality, and budget to meet or exceed the client’s expectations through planning, coordination, and control of all projects from beginning to completion.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage project risks effectively
- Ensure projects are completed on time
- Maintain safety standards on all projects
- Oversee multiple construction projects
- Plan and manage construction schedules
- Ensure projects are properly resourced
- Monitor project progress and performance
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology Management, or a related field
- Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the construction industry, with at least 7 years as a Project Manager or Construction Manager
- Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means, and methods
- Experience in managing people with strong leadership and reporting skills
- Familiarity with construction management software
- Competent in conflict and crisis management
- Excellent time and project management skills
