Electrofax Engineering Services (GH) Limited is seeking to recruit Project Manager.

Position Title: Project Manager – 161kV Transmission Line & Substation Relocation Project

Job Purpose

To provide overall leadership, planning, coordination, execution, monitoring, and successful delivery of the 161kV transmission line and substation relocation project within approved scope, schedule, budget, quality, safety, and environmental requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out activities.
• Develop and implement project management plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and stakeholder activities.
• Manage contractual obligations and ensure compliance with client specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Interface with utility operators, regulatory agencies, contractors, consultants, and community stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress against approved schedules and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of project materials and equipment.
• Manage project risks, issues, opportunities, and mitigation plans.
• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to management and stakeholders.
• Oversee quality assurance, safety performance, and environmental compliance.
• Manage project change requests and contractual claims.
• Ensure successful testing, commissioning, energization, and handover of relocated transmission and substation facilities.
• Maintain effective stakeholder communication and conflict resolution.

Qualification Requirements

• MSc in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Professional certification in Project Management (PMP mandatory).
• Minimum of 10 years experience in power transmission and substation projects, with at least 5 years in a project management role.
• Demonstrated experience managing high-voltage transmission line and substation construction/relocation projects (132kV–330kV preferred).
• Knowledge of international engineering standards (IEC, IEEE, ISO, NEC, and utility standards).
