Job Summary

Africa Ocean Bridge Maritime Operations Group Ltd is seeking a professional, friendly, and highly organized Front Desk Executive to serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and business partners. The ideal candidate will manage front office operations, provide excellent customer service, coordinate communication, and ensure the smooth running of daily administrative activities.

The successful candidate must possess strong communication skills, a welcoming personality, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and business partners.
  • Receive, direct, and manage phone calls, emails, and inquiries professionally and efficiently.
  • Welcome visitors and provide accurate information regarding company services and operations.
  • Schedule meetings, manage appointment calendars, and coordinate meeting room bookings.
  • Maintain visitor logs, front desk registers, and administrative records.
  • Coordinate courier services, receive deliveries, and manage outgoing correspondence.
  • Ensure the reception area remains organized, professional, and presentable at all times.
  • Support administrative tasks including filing, data entry, photocopying, and document management.
  • Assist departments with basic office coordination and communication support.
  • Handle customer concerns and inquiries with professionalism and discretion.
  • Monitor office supplies and report replenishment needs when necessary.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Communication, Office Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1–2 years’ experience in a receptionist, customer service, or front desk role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Professional appearance and positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
