Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized, proactive, and impact-driven professional to join our team as a Programme & Operations Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone passionate about community development, programme implementation, stakeholder engagement, and grassroots transformation.

The successful candidate will support the coordination of programmes, partnerships, volunteer engagement, monitoring and evaluation activities, institutional events, and operational systems within a dynamic and community-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the implementation of programmes, projects, and community field activities
  • Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting (MELS) activities across projects
  • Prepare reports, maintain programme documentation, and ensure accurate record-keeping
  • Coordinate volunteer engagement, stakeholder relations, and partnership activities
  • Organize institutional events, meetings, logistics, and operational activities
  • Support administrative systems, operational planning, and internal coordination processes
  • Liaise with community members, partners, volunteers, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth programme delivery
  • Monitor project timelines and support effective execution of organisational activities

Requirements

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Development Studies, Project Management, Community Development, Public Administration, NGO Management, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in programme coordination, NGO operations, monitoring & evaluation, partnerships, or community development
  • Strong organizational, communication, reporting, and coordination skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Passionate about social impact, sustainability, and community transformation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and report writing
