About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic, result-oriented Supply Chain Manager to lead end-to-end supply chain operations across all categories — from raw material imports and warehousing to production planning, finished goods distribution, and customer delivery.

This role is central to driving business continuity, cost optimization, regulatory compliance, and service excellence, aligned with our growth ambitions in the broader West Africa region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Imports & Customs:

Oversee import clearance for all materials, ensuring on-time clearance and zero demurrage through effective liaison with agents, authorities, and regulatory bodies.

Maintain compliance with import laws and ECOWAS duty structures.

  • Warehouse & Inventory:

Lead central/regional warehouse operations, ensuring FIFO/FEFO compliance, inventory accuracy, and loss prevention.

Optimize the supply network to service 350+ customers nationwide, ensuring high delivery speed and cost efficiency.

Track key KPIs (turns, ageing, obsolescence) and conduct monthly ERP-based stock reconciliations.

  • Demand, Production & Supply Planning:

Own the S&OP process; develop rolling forecasts and supply plans to ensure optimal production cycles and minimal stock-outs.

Monitor forecast accuracy, service levels, and fill rates.

  • Outbound Logistics & Distribution:

Lead nationwide finished goods distribution, optimizing fleet utilization, route planning, and managing 3PL contracts.

Track OTIF delivery and cost-per-MT, championing digitization (GPS tracking, TMS).

  • Procurement Coordination & Vendor Management

Collaborate with the Procurement team on sourcing strategies for imported and local materials.

Ensure supplier adherence to delivery timelines and mitigate risk through dual sourcing and safety stock planning.

Support vendor evaluations, local supplier development, and sustainability-linked sourcing initiatives.

  • Leadership & Optimization:

Partner cross-functionally (Finance, Quality, Sales) to align operational priorities.

Drive lean initiatives, process automation, and sustainability programs to boost productivity and agility.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or Operations Management (MBA preferred).
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in end-to-end supply chain management, ideally within FMCG or food manufacturing.
  • Proven expertise in import clearance, warehousing, S&OP, and distribution operations.
