| Competence (Knowledge/Skills/Abilities) Excellent organizational, time-management and delegation skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work under pressure Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays and weekends, as well as filling in on an emergency basis Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management Proficiency in using stores management systems and other relevant software Qualification and Experience HND or higher in a related disciplineAt least three (3) years work experience as a Stores Supervisor or in a similar inventory management roleGood physical condition and stamina suitable for shift dutyDriving license . Key Task Provide and manage storage facilities for all stock items and equipmentMonitor trends of materials consumption at the Store to provide basis for demand forecastingResponsible for raising timely purchase requests and co-ordinating availability of itemsEnsure accurate electronic inventory management databaseSubmit reports on periodic physical stock countsEnsure the establishment and control procedures for shelf-life and life-limited materials Deliver items or equipment to out-stations or satellite stores where requiredIdentification and disposal of obsolete, expired or condemned items per company proceduresDevelop and administer comprehensive safety and house-keeping programs which promote the safety of personnel and property in the storesMaintain accurate records and documentation to support transparency and accountabilityOther relevant tasks assigned by your superior |
