Form Ghana Ltd, a leading company in sustainable forestry and resource management, is seeking a proactive, innovative, and dedicated Site Nurse to join our team and make a meaningful contribution to employee health and safety.

Job Summary: To deliver high-quality primary health care, manage the site clinic, and support workplace health and safety initiatives to ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage site clinics appropriately and deliver quality healthcare
2. Accompany employees who are injured or ill to the health facility for further treatment
3. Conduct medical introductions and examinations of new employees
4. Conduct first aid training for first aiders and general employees
5. Be responsible for regularly recording treatment of illnesses and injuries from the clinic and first aiders’ register into the health and accident systems, and for reporting at the end of the month
6. Conduct training on health-related issues and assess its impact
7. Evaluate nursing care and ensure improved continuity of quality care delivery
8. Liaise with health authorities, together with the Health and Safety Officer, to improve employees’ health management
9. Suggest and implement ways to promote health, prevent illness, and train employees
10. Supervise and develop the Health Care Assistant
11. Protect and keep employees’ information confidential.
12. Request drugs and other essentials to stock the clinic
13. Attend and contribute to the end-of-month Health and Safety Meetings
14. Maintain effective communication with the Health and Safety Officer and Plantation Manager, and discuss recorded illnesses and injuries to develop preventive actions
15. Conduct an audit of the clinic every quarter and report to the H&S Officer
16. Adhere to the company’s H&S policies
17. Perform any other health and safety functions as needed
18. Submit an accurate monthly written report to the Health and Safety Officer

 Eligibility:

1. Tertiary qualification / Diploma or degree in Nursing and registered as a nurse
2. At least five (5) years of working experience in nursing practice
3. Knowledgeable in Ghana Health Service guidelines
4. Must know about Basic Life Support, Risk Assessment, Health and Safety, and have an understanding of quality assurance issues
5. Must have a valid National Health Insurance Card or related
