Job Description
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revenue Growth and Target Achievement:
- Consistently achieve revenue and volume targets.
- Acquire new clients to achieve sales targets.
- Actively seek opportunities to upsell and cross-sell to existing customers.
- Ensure timely collection of all receivables not exceeding the agreed credit time limit.
Customer Experience and Sales Operations:
- Establish and maintain productive, and professional relationships with key stakeholders in assigned customer accounts.
- Track customer feedback as part of the customer relationship management, feedback, and monitoring system.
- Utilize digital marketing platforms to increase awareness
- Management of key accounts.
- Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
Sales Strategy Development and Implementation:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans that expand the company’s customer base and solidify its presence.
- Identify customer needs and provide insights for improving the product portfolio based on interactions and feedback from customers.
- Oversee sales activities for the designated products and services and guarantee the greatest level of client satisfaction.
- Create a short and long-term sales plan to achieve the agreed objectives.
Reporting and Team Management:
- Present sales, revenue, and expense reports and realistic forecasts to the management team for decision-making.
- Oversee the activities and performance of the sales team.
- Drive customer relations management.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Managing Director.
- Consolidate and submit reports on all activities (weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual).
- Measure and reports on sales performance and develop plans to improve relevant key performance indicators.
- Undertake any other duties and assignments as may be directed by the Managing Director.
INTERNAL RELATIONS:
- Maintains contacts with all management team members, departmental business heads on matters relating to corporate and strategic goals as well as compliance management.
EXTERNAL RELATIONS:
- Maintains contacts with company’s corporate organizations, hospitals, laboratories, medical insurance companies, schools etc. and statutory organizations in line with business as may be required.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR ASSETS:
- Responsible for protection, conservation and efficient utilization of all ASSETS including laptops and cash assigned to the company.
COMPETENCIES:
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Business Administration with a Marketing option from a reputable university.
- Minimum of Six (6) years of work experience in a related field.
- Must have been certified with a professional body such as CIM UK/ CIMG,
TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of strategic sales planning.
- Ability to forecast sales results and analyze data.
- Ability to understand sales and marketing concepts and principles.
- Demonstration of excellent negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of sales software and sales analytics tools.
- Ability to prepare sales reports and power point presentations.
