We are seeking experienced, highly motivated, and results-driven Resident Engineers to oversee site operations, ensure quality project execution, and support the successful delivery of major projects.

📍 Project Locations: Somanya, Akwatia, Koforidua, Osiem, Begoro, and Suhum

About the Role

The Resident Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities on-site, ensuring that all works are executed according to approved designs, specifications, contractual requirements, and industry standards. The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical representative on site and play a critical role in ensuring project quality, safety, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

As a Resident Engineer, you will:

• Supervise and coordinate daily site construction activities.
• Ensure all works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, project schedules, and contractual obligations.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with quality assurance, health and safety, and environmental standards.
• Review contractor submissions, technical documents, and work methodologies.
• Provide technical guidance and support to contractors, consultants, and project teams.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or delays.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure adherence to engineering best practices.
• Prepare and submit site progress reports, technical reports, and project documentation.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation and delivery.
• Support the successful completion of projects within budget, scope, and timeline.

Requirements

The ideal candidate should possess:

• An HND or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• A minimum of eight (8) years of relevant post-qualification experience in construction supervision and project execution.
• Strong knowledge of:
  • Construction supervision
  • Contract administration
  • Project management principles
  • Engineering standards and regulations
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Professional membership with a recognized engineering body will be an added advantage.
